They stand like ghostly sentinels, appearing before your wondering eyes from the pearly mist and luminous moonlight. Three magnificent horses, their silvery-grey coats touched with fine etchings of black and frost, gaze at you with infinite patience as if waiting for you to answer their unspoken question. Will you ride?

Will you ride across the vast, open plains, to delve into the elusive wonders of your own spirit? Great-hearted guardians, they will protect you on your journey with all the fierce instinct of the herd.

Look close at the silvered whorls and dappled patterns of the hides. Glimpsed amid the pearlescent beauty of their coats are fleeting images of a wolf, the Guardian Spirit of the Wind, pathfinder, adventurer, and shaman.

So join them, these wild spirits, on a journey that will free your mind and heart. Together, with
the lords of this wild and proud land, you'll see wonders beyond your imagination.

"The Vanishing" by scratch-board artist Judy Larson, was named one of 1995's top 25 prints—re-created on fine porcelain for her Free Spirits collection!

The creation of the fine collector's plate you have just acquired and whose authenticity is certified by this document is the result of work by an international cadre of skilled artisans. After the plate art was created in the United States, a fine ceramic transfer, incorporating pigments carefully chosen to faithfully re-create the vibrant beauty of the artist's original, was created in France and Germany and permanently fired into the tine Japanese porcelain plate body at more than 1,460° Fahrenheit by talented craftsmen and craftswomen in the United States.
