In a Hidden Garden Collection, "Through Eyes of Blue" by Todd Clausnitzer.
Quantity:
In a Hidden Garden Collection, "Through Eyes of Blue" by Todd Clausnitzer. Second issue in this series. Bradford Exchange, 1993. Plate size approx. 8.25 inches. Suggested retail $50.00.

The lush garden is adrift with the heavenly fragrance of roses. This queen of flowers is in full bloom and emitting its sweet perfume to entice tiny winged creatures. A
golden butterfly succumbs to the heady scent and glides in for a sip of nectar. But the graceful drinker has not approached unnoticed —an alert Siamese kitten fixes its startlingly blue eyes on the movement and watches in silence. Every whisker tingling in art effort to remain still, this Oriental feline quivers in excitement to the tip of its dainty nose.

"Through Eyes of Blue" is the second issue in Todd Clausnitzer's remarkable In a Hidden Garden plate series. His expert combination of layer upon layer of sheer color and brushstrokes as fine as gossamer brings realistic texture and breathtaking perspective to every tiny detail in the original.

The scene is so lifelike that it
seems impossible not to smell the blooming roses, to hear the butterfly's gentle wings, to reach down and pet the fluffy kitten. Thus, Todd Clausnitzer's "Through Eyes of Blue" is a work of art to enjoy thoroughly today and to appreciate more and more as the years go by.

The creation of the fine collector' plate you have just acquired and whose authenticity is certified by this document is the result of work by an international cadre of skilled artisans. After the plate art was created in the U.S.A, a fine ceramic transfer, incorporating pigments carefully chosen to faithfully re-create the vibrant beauty of the artist's original, was created in France and Germany and permanently fired into the fine Japanese porcelain plate body at more than 1,460° Fahrenheit by talented craftsmen and craftswomen in the U.S.A.
