The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God is the very one through which "the word was made flesh." Through Her, the all-powerful Son was born on earth. For She alone, Beloved Daughter of the Father: Temple of the Holy Spirit, was worthy to be Mother to the Son of God. By virtue of Her perfect servitude to the Lord, She is exalted in Her Divine Motherhood. She far surpasses aH creatures in heaven and earth and is blessed with the knowledge and wisdom befitting the Mother of Men.
Pray to Mother of Wisdom for guidance in your life. She has the power and grace to provide direction in matters spiritual and temporal. Recourse to Mary is a most certain way to overcome earthly sins, for She Ls the Queen of Heaven and Saints, of earthly and evil spirits. Thus She is influential in times of temptation.
Here, in this inspiring sculpture, the Mother of Wisdom is shown cradling the Sweet Infant Jesus and holding a lamp to represent the Wisdom of God: the Light in the darkness that is our guide to eternal life.
