Her name is "Morning Star." She was named for the last pin of light that fades before the night sky gives way to the first crimson rays of the sun.

Her people are a fiercely proud nation. For generations they hunted the buffalo and fished the streams; they built their villages and worshipped their Gods. And they lived according to a code of honor that is, perhaps, the finest in the history of man.

They roamed the plains as one with nature. They knew in their heart that the blessings of Wakan Tankan (the Great Mystery) flow over them like rain showered from the sky. And all that breathe and grow, fly and crawl are her brothers and equals before the gods.

Although the ancient ways of her forefathers have disappeared like clouds riding on the wind, their courage and honor will live in
Morning Star's heart for all eternity

Never will she abandon the dreams and faith of her people. Because for her, the spirit of her forefathers is beside her always.

The creation of the fine collector's plate you have just acquired and whose authenticity is certified by this document is the result of work by an international cadre of skilled artisans. After the plate art was created in the United States, a fine ceramic transfer, incorporating pigments carefully chosen to faithfully re-create the vibrant beauty of the artist's original, was created in France and Germany and permanently fired into the fine Japanese porcelain plate body at more than 1,460° Fahrenheit by talented craftsmen and craftswomen in the United States.
