White Crow was named for the vision of the great bird her father saw the day she was born. He was called Four Bears for his warm spirit and brave heart. And today, their two lives were joined as one.

They enjoyed a love as warm as the sun; as wide as the sky. And their courtship was in perfect accord with the ways of their people.

She carried food to Four Bears' lodge every day for a moon, and at the wedding feast prepared by her mother, she presented her future in-laws with moccasins intricately decorated with porcupine quills. Four Bears, in turn, gave White Crow's relatives many presents to prove the commitment and love he shared with his new wife.

Now the wedding feast was over; the ritual was complete. They were finally together, alone, and their life together was in perfect harmony with the moon
and stars, with the sun and wind.

Lee Bogle has captured White Crow's and Four Bear's first intimate moment for the seventh plate in his Soul Mates series. It is the perfect testament to their spirit and love, and it is yours to treasure for years to come.

The creation of the line collector's plate you have just acquired and whose authenticity is certified by this document is the result of work by an international cadre of skilled artisans. After the plate art was created in the United States, a fine ceramic transfer, incorporating pigments carefully chosen to faithfully re-create the vibrant beauty of the artist's original, was created in France and Germany and permanently fired into the fine Japanese porcelain plate body at more than 1,460° Fahrenheit by talented craftsmen and craftswomen in the United States.
